Divers from Houston, Austin and San Antonio went out on a Tons of Steel dive to the Texas Clipper. Blue Water and calm sea prevailed. The prefect day.
While working for Texas Parks and Wildlife, American Diving was able to explore a the Port Mansfield Reef and part of that reef is a 80 foot tug with lots of coral, fish , and gorgonians. It is 26 miles from here but certainly worth the trip.
Divers went to the Wreck of the Deep Six today in very calm seas. Thermocline was in the upper 70’s. Visibility was around
20 feet but the wreck was teaming with fish and coral.
Today was another blue water day on the Texas Clipper. We released two Hawksbill turtles on top of the Texas Clipper. There was no current but the thermocline was in the mid 70’s. Divers were treated to a very large pod of dolphins as we were leaving the dive.
