ADVANCED SCUBA COURSES
Advanced courses are continuing education certification courses for certified divers. These enjoyable programs of continued supervised experience are designed to introduce divers to a variety of diving activities in open water settings.
Nitrox
Cost is $200 plus student kit and dives.
This is a 1/2 day class. Requires open water certification.
Advanced Diver with Wreck Diver - Group Course
Cost is $650 includes offshore dives, plus books
and gear rental
3 Diving Days (6 dives)
Included in dive training: Navigation, Low visibility, Deep Dive
(130 fsw), Wreck (non-penetration), Underwater Mapping, Search and
Recovery.
Advanced Diver with Wreck Diver - Private Course
Cost is $1000 includes offshore dives, plus books
and gear rental
3 Diving Days (6 dives)
Included in dive training: Navigation, Low visibility, Deep Dive
(130 fsw), Wreck (non-penetration), Underwater Mapping, Search and
Recovery.
Wreck Diver
Cost is $250 and includes academics, benchwork, gear configuration
and requires 4 wreck dives.
First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens
Cost is $250
2 day course is a prerequisite for the rescue course and recognized
by the USGC.
Rescue Course
This course trains divers in
the knowledge and skills needed to manage risks and effectively
handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies. Included
are: assists, transports, surface rescues and rescues from depth
involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers. The
course meets the prerequisite rescue training for Skin Diving
Instructor, Assistant Instructor, Divemaster and Instructor
certifications.
Cost is $400
1 day of academics and 1 day diving
The Master
Scuba Diver Course is a continuing education certification course
for divers who wish to increase their understanding and enjoyment of
diving. Emphasis is on student participation and practical
application of knowledge in open water after a classroom discussion
of subjects. This course is an excellent progression toward NAUI
Leadership roles.
Cost is $1500 includes offshore dives, plus books
and gear rental
4 Diving Days (8 dives) plus up to 20 hours of classroom time.
Included in dive training: Emergency Procedures/Rescue,
Deep/simulated decompression diving, Limited Visibility or Night
Diving, Underwater Navigation, Search and Recover - light salvage,
Air Consumption (practical application), Environmental Study or
Survey, and Special Interest .
