Snorkel Trips
One of the great seasonal activities you can do on vacation in South Padre is to take a professionally guided snorkel trip. Snorkeling in South Padre with American Diving offers you the most professional and licensed guides on the island.
Seasonally, we have snorkeling trips up to 2 times a day aboard the MV Diver I. We have the Island's only certified Snorkeling guides, Dive Masters, Snorkeling Instructors, and Dive Instructors.
The MV Diver I is a 60 ft, US Coast Guard inspected Diving/Snorkeling vessel, complete with air-conditioning, indoor/outdoor seating, fresh water shower and onboard restroom. Our snorkeling excursions go to the Laguna Madre Estuary or the South Padre Island jetties (as weather permits).
The trips are $25 dollars which includes all equipment, a tour of Whiskey Channel, and of tour of South Padre Island homes along the Thompson channel in our air-conditioned vessel with onboard restroom. The total trips are generally 3 hours long with an hour of time being spent in the water.
