SCUBA DIVER TRAINING
Our dual enrollment Scuba diver plus Nitrox diver course takes four days. Instruction is done in the class room and online with the American Diving online program. Once the final test has been completed the water training will begin. There are two days of pool sessions and one day of confined water and three open water dives offshore aboard the M.V Diver I. The pool session introduces the student to the skills that they need to dive safely, and the diving sessions reinforce each of these skills repeatedly. At the end of the course, divers are not just certified, but qualified to dive anywhere in the world. The student will be provide the the following equipment. Buoyancy Compensator, Regulators, Wet Suit, Weight belt and weights. The Student is responsible for the following Items. Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Booties, and Glooves. We do offer a locals discount on any scuba gear purchases. Your Scuba diving certification workshops may be designed to meet you individual needs.
Option #1 Cost is $650
Course includes: Academics, rental equipment, pool work, confined water work and your open water dives. Nitrox is included into all entry level courses.
Option #2 Cost is $450
Course includes: Academics, rental equipment, pool work, confined water work. The Open Water dives would be reffered to another location at the students expense.
Equipment Requirements
Each student must buy his or her own mask, snorkel, fins, booties, and gloves from American Diving (students will receive a discount on equipment purchase). The exact cost depends on the student’s choice of equipment from the wide selection offered at American Diving. Costs of the NAUI Scuba Diver course include the use of a regulator, buoyancy compensator, Wetsuit, cylinders, weights, and breathing gas for the duration of the instruction.
