Technical
Diving is a discipline that utilizes special techniques,
equipment, training and skills to improve underwater
performance and safety. Akin to the spirit of rock climbing
and wilderness trekking, the motivation for tech diving is
personal challenge and the thrill of exploration. High tech
diving typically involves deeper and longer exposures than
traditional recreational standards and is often conducted in
an overhead environment of a wreck where the diver cannot
freely ascend to the surface.
While each of our courses may be taught as a single module,
their greatest asset lies in the fact that they may be
easily combined in to a closely related module. By
progressing through these tiered programs, we build your
experience base enabling you with a high degree of diving
discipline and confidence to successfully complete your
dives. We build up your confidence through repeated hands-on
work both in the water and in the tech lab. Our objective is
not only to qualify you for your dive objective, but also to
give a healthy respect for the technical diving environment. |
